7 Christian Podcasts To Listen To In 2023: Rediscover Your Faith

7 Christian Podcasts To Listen To In 2023: Rediscover Your Faith

If you had told me 3 years ago that I would love podcasts so much that I would actually curate them, I would've laughed in your face. But alas, here we are and I'm so excited to be sharing my list of favourite podcasts with you. Some I've been listening to for over two years now and some which I've recently come to know about.

These podcasts are great for everyone who is trying to form a deeper connection with God or feels stuck in their faith. I cannot stress how much these podcasts have not only helped me rediscover my faith but have also helped me make life-changing choices that I am grateful for.

There has been a significant difference in my life from before I started listening to some of these podcasts to right now. I feel so much at peace and content with any situation I find myself in while still hoping and praying for a better tomorrow. Yes, I've still got a long way to go but these podcasts have taught me a lot from being intentional about spending time with God to surrendering myself and giving up world-views and earthly things.

So, without beating around the bush any longer, let's hop on the podcast train and get to know these coaches (what is that?!). Sorry, let's dive right in.

Mornings With The Masters:

Morning with the Masters Podcast

This is the first podcast I ever discovered and it is still at the top of my list to this day. It is a daily devotional podcast with Chad and Tori Masters that I just love. Yes, a daily devotional podcast, as in, every single day.

When I discovered this podcast in mid-2021, they were over 5-6 months into the podcast as they had just started in the New Year of 2021. It took me a little over 2 months to catch up with all the previous episodes while still listening to the new episodes. But dang, it was worth it.

The average time of the podcast is 10 minutes with episodes running from around 9-13 minutes each. It is available everywhere and as of 2023, you can also watch them on Youtube as well. Join the Masters fam by listening to Mornings with the Masters now.

Bought & Beloved:

Bought & Beloved Podcast

I call this podcast the 'Tough Love' podcast because Kirby Kelly is a boss and she is not here to play. I can't recall how I came about this podcast but boy am I glad it's on my list. This is a weekly podcast dedicated to helping people with their faith. Kirby has an ongoing email address for this podcast where you can send your Faith-based question(s) and she answers them in her next podcast.

The first episode aired in February 2019 and honestly, the average time for each episode of this podcast varies based on the question. There are some episodes that are less than 30 minutes and others that are around 50 minutes and more. But every second of this podcast will have you wanting to listen to more. Listen to the Bought + Beloved podcast now.

Embraced With Grace:

Embraced With Grace Podcast

This podcast came highly recommended by Tori Masters and I just had to check it out. After listening to the first few episodes, I could see why. Brittany Lutz is open about her faith and the ups and downs that life brings and I am here for all the encouragement she brings along with it.

The first episode was released in January 2021 and there are currently 110 episodes as I write this with the last episode released in April. Each episode varies from around 2 to almost 30 minutes. Listen to Embraced with Grace now.

But, What's Next?:

But, What's Next? Podcast

I was so fortunate to discover this podcast late in 2021 when I had just graduated from College sometime in June that same year. This podcast with Michelle Reed basically addresses questions we ask ourselves in our 20s; what's next? From graduating to finding your footing in the world, this period as a young adult can be tough and this podcast talks about all of that.

This podcast aired its first episode in April 2020 and it features guest speakers to elaborate on some of the topics discussed. Each episode lasts for over 30 to 55 minutes and within that time, you would certainly learn something new that might help in your journey into adulthood. The last episode aired in July 2022 and I don't know if we should still be expecting more episodes but you should check out the old episodes. Listen to But, what's next? now.

Prompt Us:

Prompt Us Podcast

If you're looking for insight on how to steward every aspect of your life with your faith as a foundation, this podcast is definitely for you. With a trio I never knew I wanted, Chad Masters, Gabriel Conte, and Zachary Staines get together to talk about how your faith, relationships, and professional life intersect.

I hopped from listening over on Spotify to watching them on Youtube because of the really interesting way they deliver something so motivational with humour and weight. With weekly updates, the first episode was released in February 2021 and the last episode in December 2021.

I still have this podcast on my list in the hopes that they can all get back to it. But even if they don't, the released episodes are so good that I may want to re-listen to them sometime in the future. Each episode lasts for around 30 minutes to an hour of banter that will have you rewinding just to hear it again. Listen to Prompt Us now.

As For Me And My House:

As For Me And My House Podcast

Unfortunately for me, I haven't been able to listen to any of the episodes from this podcast. But it's been on my list for a while because I know that I want and will listen to it when the time is right. I also know that I'm going to enjoy it because I follow Milena Ciciotti over on YouTube and I enjoy her content. This podcast is with her and her husband, Jordan Ciciotti.

So, between this paragraph and the previous one, I took a moment to listen to the intro. It just confirmed that this weekly podcast is definitely something I would enjoy. Each episode is about 40 minutes to an hour of honest and open conversations about different aspects of their life as Christians packed with encouraging words. The first episode was released in March 2019 and I cannot wait to get started. Listen to As For Me + My House now.

Whoa, That's Good:

Whoa, That's Good Podcast

I came across this podcast not too long ago and I'm looking forward to actually listening to it. I've watched a few videos of Sadie Robertson preaching and I didn't know she had a podcast until a week or so ago. This podcast, at first glance, doesn't seem to have a scheduled update as it has around 3 to 7 episodes out monthly.

In this podcast, Sadie goes on to ask influential people the question: What is the best advice you have ever been given? From the snippet of conversations I can currently hear on the trailer episode, I am already going: Whoa, that's good. These faith-based pieces of advice and conversations are something that I am excited to hear more about. Listen to Whoa, that's good now.

Sheesh, that was a whole lot! I hope these podcasts help you in ways that you're hoping for. I know there are other amazing Christian podcasts out there and my hunt continues. At the rate I'm going, I might have to replace tv shows and movies with podcasts because these are much more fruitful. Remember to support these podcasters by giving them ratings and leaving your reviews. And also remember that these podcasts should in no way be substituted for your personal time with God.

Anyway, that's it fam! If there are Christian podcasts that you know of which aren't on my list, I would appreciate you dropping them in the comment for me to check them out. Till then, hope you enjoy these.

Love you muchly, Jane.
